Tim Tebow's Christianity = Super Bowl Commercial

Every year for the last 44 years they have had a Super Bowl. Not everyone watches it, but most Americans watch it for the good old commercials. Usually 30-second cost around $3.01 million. Nearly every American watches the Super Bowl so companies will pay a lot so many will watch and take consideration.

Tim Tebow is trying to spread what he believes in. He doesn't care what people think, he just wants people to respect his choices. Tim is doing the commercial to tell people it is wrong for abortion and that you need to be a family.

Tim Tebow's parents are missionaries and in 1987 his mom got a life-threating infection called "pathogenic amoeba." She was put in a coma and the drugs that she took to get out of the coma caused "placental abruption." The doctors told her that she needed to have an abortion. She did not listen to the doctors. The Heisman winning quarterback was born on August 14, 1987. If it wasn't for his mom, Pam Tebow, the 2x National Champion and Heisman winner would not have been born. He wears bible versus under his eyes. He is a missionary. All Tim Tebow wants to do is change people's lives. "I want to be remembered by what I changed and did. Not what I did on the field." says Tim Tebow.

So after all that things, the Super Bowl is an important event with commercials with a reason.

Oh My What Just Happened in Haitians?

On January 12, 2010 a big disastor happened in Haitians. A 7.0 earthquake hit big time in Port-Au-Prince. Well actually it hit more places, but were it did the most damage was Port-Au-Prince. Haitians is approximately 750 miles from the coast of Florida. It has an area of 27,750. In December 2009 there was a population of 9,035,536.

People lost homes and buildings and they are fighting for food and water. Officals really fear that more than 100,000 died in this accendent. Our millintary is helping in this disastor by helping burry the dead and more. The problem is that so many are dead, that they don't know were to put them. So they are putting them in really big holes in the ground. People die every day because of all the aftershocks, so many countries, beside the USA, are helping the survivors.

Many people are adopting these poor Haitians. Domenikan Rebulplic is helping but won't let them in there country because they don't have any where to put them. The USA and other countries are dropping food, water, ect. for the Haitians people. Tiger Woods, not a big shot right now, is donating $3,000,000. People all over the world are donating money to the Red Cross. They have already received more than $21,000,000. Brad Pitt, Robert Pattison, and more will be helping with a telethon to raise money for the Haitians. A really big event is coming up on January 22, 2010 holding more than 50 bands and will raise money for the people in Haitians.

53 Haitian orphans were airlifted to the USA on January 20, 2010 after the US changed the law. They landed in Pittsburg. Only 900 children, that are indentified as orphans by the Haitians government, can come to the US. At least the United States is letting Haitian people come to America.

In Haitian their relief is the donationss and the help from everybody over the world. The US took over the airport by sending out the people not from their and the injured. The water situation is very serious because they are having trouble getting it. They are more worried about survivors that are still trapped in Port-Au-Prince.

The religious beliefs are that they practice there faith and that is what is giving them the hope to keep going during this horrible event.
In the end I fill really lucky for my life because this disastor has changed a lot. The sad part is when they try to start over the aftershocks, ranges about 5,7, changes their lives again. People just need to keep helping them and praying that it will get better for them.

Steriod Failure

He should keep his award because everybody in that time used steroids in that time. Actually I think they should do what is right and do what he thinks is right. People today are taking steriods, so I think he should keep it.

Improvements of Wellington

To improve this town, I would build a shelter/adoption for the dogs. I would build one for the homeless but Wellington doesn't have one. I would also build a Mall with a food court, clothes, teen hangout. This would save money on gas and it will save the environment. We could have charities at the dog shelter or the mall to raise money to save what we are chariting for.

New Year Resolutions

I think that resolutions are important at this time of year because it is a new year with a new beginning. People wait until the new year so they can try harder on their resolution. Most common resolution is staying in shape by lifting and running more in the year. The only reason it is hard to keep a resolution is because it is hard to break an old habits. My three New Years resolutions are to get better at drumming so maybe in the future I can join band again, and also get better in basketball so hopefully I can make varsity! I have a goal to get better in track so that way, I can make it past district and hopefully onto bigger things! The way I will keep these things by setting my mind to it and working hard during practice. I am going to work hard to accomplish these three things in 2010!
