Santy Clause I've been...just ask my parents!

Dear Santy Clause,

I have been some what nice. I have tried really hard to be nice this year. I have forgotten to do homework and been mean to Jared and Skyler. I haven't been that much of a worker this year. I do try hard to make up for it. I would like the Under Armor jersey that had Freedom on the back from Austin Zouzalik. I also want to go to the Ticket City Bowl game which Texas Tech is playing in because it is Steven Sheffield's last game. I would also like Tim Tebow's autograph. I would also like a 56" television with a dvd player.

Love always,
Harley Z Warrick

P.S.
I've been super awesome!!!

Safety after 9/11

I do not understand while people are complaining about going through a scanner. It is not a invasion of privacy because it is for our safety. After what happened on 9/11/2001 people should be more concerned because there is people trying to bomb us. I do not think that getting patted down will make sure there is no bombs with them. When they have to take nude pictures they delete them because they take so many and after they take them they are pretty much useless. I will do anything that way I am safe.

YuMmY

I plan on eating at my grandmas' house for Thanksgiving. I like to see all my aunts, uncles, and cousins. On Friday and Saturday I am going to play in the Fantasy of Lights tournament in Wichita Falls. We are going to play three games at the least. After that I plan on coming home and eating more than hang out with some friends before Jared leaves.

I am thankful for:

  1. the soldiers that fight for us to let us have freedom
  2. my family
  3. my teammates
  4. God
  5. technology
  6. earth
  7. plants
  8. farmers
  9. music
  10. U.S.A workers

To Smoke or Not to Smoke

If graphic pictures, of what happens when you smoked, were sold in stores on the cigarette boxes, I do not think people would quit smoking. Most people that smoke know what it is going to do to them but they ignore it or they don't think it will happen to them. If people saw what was actually happening to them inside their own body I do believe they might quit. The elder smokers (over fifty) know that what they are doing is bad for them, they either don't want to believe it or they don't care what is happening.

Mcdonalds makes you fat

1.) They banned toys because that is the only reason children got the happy meal.
2.) I agree because they need to give the kids more healthy options. They should put the apples in the kid meals.
3.) .75 vegetables and .5 fruit
4.) Cheeseburger and fries with apples and a toy and healthy drink!!

"my favorite meal" yummy yummy!

I have a perfect meal that is set up at my grandma's house. My cousins, aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, and grandparents would be there. We would have Subway sandwiches which are delicious. They would have to be made with ham, cheese, pepperoni, pickles, cucumbers, and salt. We would also have have spaghetti, dressing, turkey, tacos, corn dogs, hot dogs, chips and dip, chocolate cookies, cherry pie, lemon cake, and brownies. It will all be tasteful. It will be a zealous day. We will eat this for days, until we all run out. Then we'll be so fat that our pant buckles will pop. It will become a peaceful night.

Call me Harley the Wolf

I would be a wolf because wolf are cute. They can be in hot weather or cold weather and still react the same way. They can run fast and they can destory another animal for protection. Wolves have packs and they are like your friends. They have each others backs. Wolves are just straight up awesome.

Trapped!...Oh My!

If I was trapped underground I would probably be the one freaking out because I am claustrophobic. If I asked for five items they would be a bible, drawing kit, Big Bang Theory on DVD, an Ipod with all Alternative, Rock, Pop, and my favorite music, and a pillow and blanket. I would ask for my bible so I can read it and learn new verses to keep my spirits high. I would ask for a drawing kit so I can draw and write down things that I want to draw or write down. I would ask for the Big Bang Theory because it is super hilarious and would keep my hopes high and pass the day. I would ask for a Ipod with all Rock, Alternative, Pop, and my favorite songs because It would help me pass the day and I could give it to them at night to charge it for me. I would ask for a pillow and blanket so I would have something to lay on. I would not liked to be trapped but if I was ever trapped this is what I would ask for.

HEADS DOWN!!

I was sitting there in my seat when I hear on the intercom, "Stay down! Heads down!" I started freaking out! I am only fifteen so everything bad was going through my head. When I finally figured it out, I looked out the window and saw beautiful sparks. Then I realized that was bad. The landing gear was stuck! I laid in a yucky kind of liquid. It was delicious Dr. Pepper. When we landed I realized that my awesome life just nearly ended. I will always wonder what happened to the people in the scary accident of 911. I was just lucky that we didn't crash into a building. I will never forget that plane ride.

Back in time

If I could go back in time, I would go to the dinosaur era. I just think how they work, is cool. I also want to know how they actually died. My favorite is the T-Rex. They had a big body and little arms. I would want to ride on there backs and be a ruler. That is why I would go to the dinosaur era.

My Perfect Day

People dream of the perfect day. The truth is, it usually doesn't come true the way people think it should. I have a dream of the perfect day. My perfect day is out of this world.

My perfect day would be:

I woke up arond 9:30 o'clock. It is a Saturday so I am super excited. My friends Maci, Brice, and Kameron are coming down. They are coming down to hang out and see a movie. They arrived around 11:00 o'clock that way we can eat at Robersons together. After we ate, we went and rode around for about an hour. Then went to my house to watch tv, play games, and just have fun. After that we watched Killers and the Texas Tech University game. After the game was over, it was time for them to go home. They are my really close best friends, that is why it is my "Perfect Day."

End of school!!

Lots of things have happened in this past school year. It was a awesome freshman year. I had a good year because I got to experince WHS with my older sister. In athletics I got to guard her and play offense while she played defense. The worst part of that is she tried to kill me. She elbowed me in the jogular right before the Sudan game. My favorite part of school this year was getting to play JV basketball and practicing really hard to get to play. I really liked playing for Coach Richardson and Coach Inman. Then another thing was being able to play Varsity Tennis and nearly getting to the semi-finals at district. I loved traveling with both teams. It was always fun. Another was being on Varsity Track. I didn't do that well in it but I worked hard. The worst was waking up in the morning for school and homework. It was the worst of all the school year because I didn't want to do it. For summer I am going to play basketball and hang with my brother until he leaves. Then at the beggining of July I am going to Kerney, Nebraska and Denver, Colorodo for basketball tournaments. Then I am also going to three team camps with Coach and the other girls.

There were so many funny moments that happened, I can't imagine what next year brings

Phoenix Suns defeat San Antonio Spurs 4-0 in the Western Confrence Semi-Finals

The playoffs are big! The Phoenix Suns played Portland Trail Blazers a couple weeks ago and beat them. They moved on to play the San Antonio Spurs. For the last four years the Spurs has beat the Suns out of the Playoffs. This year was completely different. The Suns took an early series lead 2-0. Then they went down to Spur country. They had a little trouble at the beginning of the game but they got saved by Goran Dragic to take a 3-0 series lead. They went and played at San Antonio trying to end the series. In the third quarter, Tim Duncan elbowed Steve Nash right above the eye. Nash had to get 6 stitches and it swole up to close his eye. It brought back memories of 3 years back when he got headed butted right in the nose by Tony Parker. But, he cam back in the game to finish the series to beat them 4-0. They take on the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. If they beat them they will go to the Finals and play the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Illegal Aliens? Oh NO!

In my own opinion, I think that this is a good bill. It will bring more protection to the United States of America. I don't think it is all that necessary, but we need some more control over what happens with the people coming over. It might bring more racial profiling because people will be more judgemental if they see someone who has to get checked to see if they have there information. It will bring racial profiling because people will judge before they get to know that person. It compares to the Nazi because they checked the jews to make sure they were one. I really don't think it is an extreme exaggration because it is something to help the USA. There is some people coming over to make a better life and working hard like normal Americans. Then again there are some just making trouble. I do believe that this law will go to other states. Like Texas, New Mexico, Florida, and other states that have a lot of people coming of the border.

Oh but I did fly through that Mrs. Waters

Fifteen hour flight and I was a fourteen, nearly fifteen, year old pilot. Out of nowhere I saw a cloud of smoke come from below. It was huge. I decided to get on the radio with the people below and find out what was going on. They said a volcano went off and went Kaboom! I got on the radio thing again, but this one was for my plane (The SS long flight plane). "Testing! Testing! People listen carefully. There has been a volcano eruption in Iceland. It is too late to turn around, so we are going to go through all the smoke. The smoke is really, super big. If you would please stay calm and go back to what you were doing. Oh! Also shut your window so you forgot I said this."

All I can really remeber was staying focused and trying to dodge the other planes that didn't know what to do. All the people in the plane, including Zac Efron, started to scream when I would jerk it to the left. Thankfully nobody fell out of the plane. We got to the half point of smoke and somebody had to much to drink and eat. Everyone started to get air sick because it was a very rough ride. It would shake, jerk, up, and down and I think I flipped it a few times. Good thing I told them to wear a seatbelt. I hope.

We got out of all the smoke and still had two hours until we landed. Everyone finally started to calm down after all that scaryness. My assisant manager pilot went to check on everyone and found some people crying. I'm not taking about people under twenty. I can understand that dilema because it was terrifying. When we got to the Warrick airport, we found out that only a few planes made it through and that everyone would get an award and eprication for life.

I got home and laid in my own bed and thought that I just saved fourteen peoples lives including Zac Efron. My life just got better!!

RETURNED?? that is just wrong!!

In my own opinion, that lady should have never returned that child. I bet a kid says something like "I am going to kill myself" or "I will kill 'em." But they never go through with it. I know for a fact that lady made the wrong decision. She should have taken him to get some help or something like that. I really doubt that the kid would have ever done it to see a phycologist. That is just my own opinion though.

Oh Romeo! Oh Juliet! were out thau

In the play "Romeo and Juliet" their parents are enemies. Romeo meets a girl named Juliet at the Capulet Ball. He is a Montague so he was not wanted there by Tybalt. Romeo and Juliet would be forbidden to marry each other. They went behind their parents' backs and went to Friar Lawrence. Juliet doesn't marry Paris, so she killed herself for 42 hours. Romeo drinks poison. Juliet found him and she killed herself. Then all the family fighting was done.

My favorite line was "Anon!"
My favortie scene was the balcony scene.

Holy! Some One HELP ME!!

If I was in that car being pushed by that heavy weight truck, and I have to get interviewed, my response would be:

"I can't really get over the shock that just happened. That will be a big part of my life. I'm just glad that no one got hurt. Especially me!"

Reporter: "How did this happen?"
Me: "I was getting on the freeway and all of a sudden this truck came out of nowhere. I just turned my wheel towards the grass and hit the breaks and he caught me."
Reporter: "How did you get trapped in your car?"
Me: "Well if I would have jumped out on my side, I would have been ran over. I just stayed and was uncalm the whole time."
Reporter: "What were you doing at this terryifing moment?"

Now that is Women's History Month

Lots of people may not know, but it is Women's History Month. Women have been through a lot; not being able to vote, having to stay home and cook, clean, and take care of the non-workers. I chose three women (well that are couragious). I picked Danica Patrick, Ashley Fiolek, and Jolene Van Vugt.

Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick races NASCAR and INDYCARS. I picked her because she is very couragious by racing the guys in a very dangerous sport. In NASCAR you go at 190 speeds with going 200 laps. She started racing with the guys this past fall. Most people thought she would fail as a racer, but she proved them all wrong by getting sixth.

Ashley Fiolek

Ashley Fiolek is a deaf motorcross racer. She went pro and not only did she race at X-Games 15 but she also won it. In motocross, supercross, or any kind of pro race, you have to go through Heat races and Main race. If you don't qulify in the heat race, you have to go to the LCQ (last chance qulifier). Ashley Fiolek is a couragious girl because she is deaf rider. Usually you need to hear so you can tell if someone is coming behind you, but she is really smart and can ride really good. If she ever wants to race against the guys, she could succeed very well.

Jolene Van Vugt

Jolene Van Vugt is on Nitro Circus. It is a show were a bunch of guys and one girl do crazy things. Travis Pastrana has broken so many bones that he doesn't care. Jolene and the guys do things that only crazy, fun people would think of. She is couragious to me because she always does things like watersliding down a hill, full of trees. They ride dirtbikes and do tricks.

These girls deserved to be noticed because they all have things in common. They don't let guys get in there way of having fun at what they succeed.

The Magical Picture Box is called a TV grandma!

In my own opinion, I do believe the TV (television) is the best invention. You can go home from school or work and sit and relax. It also has very good comedy, music, news, and sports. John Logie Baird invented the TV on January 26, 1926. TV is a really good invention because if we didn't have it, people would be more bored and do more bad things.

Because it's the DO YOUR WORKANATOR-ANATOR!

My famous invention is the DO YOUR WORKANATOR-ANATOR. It will do your homework, do your chores, and everything you hate to do. It will also be your friend.

TAKS the brain washing of children

Dear State of Texas,

I don't think that we should take the TAKS. It is good but it is so boring people fall asleep. You should just make it were teachers have to give a test after each chapter. Not to hard but not to easy. We always learn stuff and we have lots of test in a year, so that TAKS just makes kids want to cry. Please don't let us have a TAKS test.

Killer Whale is actually a Killer Whale!

There was a whale that killed a trainer in a freak accident. The whale takes from his name "Killer Whale". They should just send it back to the ocean and never bother it. The punishment was unnecessary because they put it in a small pool thing were all he could do was move his flippers. They should not harm the animal, they should just move it back to the ocean.

If Obama makes TV watchin on the week days a bad law!! I swear!

I really don't care what Obama does with his children because it is his children and he can do what ever he wants. I personally think that people that watch TV have joy in their lives, but that is just my opinion. I also think that watching too much TV can ruin a child. Everybody has their own opinion, but I would at least let them have an hour of TV. I know that Obama is the president and they know nearly everything that is going on, but I still think they should be able to watch the weather or something like "ICarly." All I know is that it is Obama's choice and I guess I disagree with it and kind of agree. One thing is if Obama makes it a law where everybody has to do what he does to his children, I will be mad.

I repersent with my music

1. What is your favorite song? "Life after you" by Daughtry
2. What is your least favorite song? "3" by Brittany Spears
3. In your opinion, what is the cheesiest (yes, I am using that as a REAL word, and it has nothing to do with cheese) song of all time? (You might have to check with your parents on this one! There were a plethora of cheesy songs in the 80's.) "Blah Blah Blah" by Ke$ha.
4. What song lyrics have you sung wrong? Tell me how you sang them! (If
you don't want to admit your blunder, you can tell me what have heard others sing wrong.) If you know more than one, you can post them! "It's not over" by Daughtry...I thought it sang "It's not over" at the beggining of the chorus but it said "Let's start over"
5. What song and/or artist do you think is WAY overrated? Ke$ha and Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus

Amare Stoudemire, Reggie Bush, and Jason Terry.

Amare Stoudemire is an awesome basketball player. He needs to be represented for Black History Month. He won the Rookie of the Year Award coming straight out of high school. In November 2008 he won the NBA's Community Assist Award for his Each 1, Teach 1 foundation. He also made drinkable water in Sierra Leone. He funded buildings of water wells. He visited the country 2008 summer and met up with Presendent Earnest Bai Koroma.

Another person is Reggie Bush. He has his own charity to help with the people that got there homes took from them during Hurricane Katrina. Reggie Bush does his business on the field and off the field. His girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, and him helped a family get furniture and everything for their house that they were fixing. He also helps little kids with the sport of football.

For my last one is Jason Terry. He plays basketball for the Mavericks. He has a foundation sort of like Reggie Bush. He does basketball camp for the little kids. He also donates a $100 for every three he makes. He goes to the Atlanta's Hughes Spalding Children's Hospital. He takes toys with other Dallas Mavericks's teammates. He also donated jackets to the homeless.

I think these three guys should be recognized for Black History Month.

School Cancled for Snow Storm!!

The night of January 27, 2010 a humongous snow storm hit. When I woke up, my mom told me and my sister that school was canceled. I was disappointed and happy at the same time. It was horrible day because the power was going on and off, and there was nothing at all to do. Friday morning I figured out I would have to spend another actionless day in the house. I could not stand it anymore. Being so bored, I went outside and shoveled a walk way to the snow covered cars. It really did help for when it started to ice and the snow getting hard.

Saturday was a little better because I got to get out of the house to go to practice. Luckily when we were at the gym, Ashley and Erin were there. I invited them to eat with me, Sky, Sam, and Dad. When we got done eating we took them home and Erin invited me over. We played a dangerous game of Spoons. Cooper, Kamri, Elli, and Ashley were getting ruff. Me, Erin, and Ashley were helping each other. It was hard because when it was just the three of us, somebody had to get out. After three games we decided to take a break and make a video with Sam and Skyler. That was kind of hard because it was nearly time for the movie. We all went to the movie to see the "Princess and the Frog." In my oppion that was a waste of five dollars. After the movie we decided to go our seperate ways and go home. When I got home I played on the internet waiting for Saturday Night Live to come on.

When I woke up on Sunday, I dreaded the next day because school. So I did the same thing as before I went to bed. Watch TV and play on the computer. Later that night around 5:00, Ashley called me over to see if I wanted to watch "Step Up 2." When I went over, I actually had something else to do.

Tim Tebow's Christianity = Super Bowl Commercial

Every year for the last 44 years they have had a Super Bowl. Not everyone watches it, but most Americans watch it for the good old commercials. Usually 30-second cost around $3.01 million. Nearly every American watches the Super Bowl so companies will pay a lot so many will watch and take consideration.

Tim Tebow is trying to spread what he believes in. He doesn't care what people think, he just wants people to respect his choices. Tim is doing the commercial to tell people it is wrong for abortion and that you need to be a family.

Tim Tebow's parents are missionaries and in 1987 his mom got a life-threating infection called "pathogenic amoeba." She was put in a coma and the drugs that she took to get out of the coma caused "placental abruption." The doctors told her that she needed to have an abortion. She did not listen to the doctors. The Heisman winning quarterback was born on August 14, 1987. If it wasn't for his mom, Pam Tebow, the 2x National Champion and Heisman winner would not have been born. He wears bible versus under his eyes. He is a missionary. All Tim Tebow wants to do is change people's lives. "I want to be remembered by what I changed and did. Not what I did on the field." says Tim Tebow.

So after all that things, the Super Bowl is an important event with commercials with a reason.

Oh My What Just Happened in Haitians?

On January 12, 2010 a big disastor happened in Haitians. A 7.0 earthquake hit big time in Port-Au-Prince. Well actually it hit more places, but were it did the most damage was Port-Au-Prince. Haitians is approximately 750 miles from the coast of Florida. It has an area of 27,750. In December 2009 there was a population of 9,035,536.

People lost homes and buildings and they are fighting for food and water. Officals really fear that more than 100,000 died in this accendent. Our millintary is helping in this disastor by helping burry the dead and more. The problem is that so many are dead, that they don't know were to put them. So they are putting them in really big holes in the ground. People die every day because of all the aftershocks, so many countries, beside the USA, are helping the survivors.

Many people are adopting these poor Haitians. Domenikan Rebulplic is helping but won't let them in there country because they don't have any where to put them. The USA and other countries are dropping food, water, ect. for the Haitians people. Tiger Woods, not a big shot right now, is donating $3,000,000. People all over the world are donating money to the Red Cross. They have already received more than $21,000,000. Brad Pitt, Robert Pattison, and more will be helping with a telethon to raise money for the Haitians. A really big event is coming up on January 22, 2010 holding more than 50 bands and will raise money for the people in Haitians.

53 Haitian orphans were airlifted to the USA on January 20, 2010 after the US changed the law. They landed in Pittsburg. Only 900 children, that are indentified as orphans by the Haitians government, can come to the US. At least the United States is letting Haitian people come to America.

In Haitian their relief is the donationss and the help from everybody over the world. The US took over the airport by sending out the people not from their and the injured. The water situation is very serious because they are having trouble getting it. They are more worried about survivors that are still trapped in Port-Au-Prince.

The religious beliefs are that they practice there faith and that is what is giving them the hope to keep going during this horrible event.
In the end I fill really lucky for my life because this disastor has changed a lot. The sad part is when they try to start over the aftershocks, ranges about 5,7, changes their lives again. People just need to keep helping them and praying that it will get better for them.

Steriod Failure

He should keep his award because everybody in that time used steroids in that time. Actually I think they should do what is right and do what he thinks is right. People today are taking steriods, so I think he should keep it.

Improvements of Wellington

To improve this town, I would build a shelter/adoption for the dogs. I would build one for the homeless but Wellington doesn't have one. I would also build a Mall with a food court, clothes, teen hangout. This would save money on gas and it will save the environment. We could have charities at the dog shelter or the mall to raise money to save what we are chariting for.

New Year Resolutions

I think that resolutions are important at this time of year because it is a new year with a new beginning. People wait until the new year so they can try harder on their resolution. Most common resolution is staying in shape by lifting and running more in the year. The only reason it is hard to keep a resolution is because it is hard to break an old habits. My three New Years resolutions are to get better at drumming so maybe in the future I can join band again, and also get better in basketball so hopefully I can make varsity! I have a goal to get better in track so that way, I can make it past district and hopefully onto bigger things! The way I will keep these things by setting my mind to it and working hard during practice. I am going to work hard to accomplish these three things in 2010!
